Paris Hilton was unable to attend the first events and celebrations of the Cannes Film Festival last week because she had forgotten her passport and could not fly to Madrid, Spain, Orange News reported.
The star planned to fly to Nice, France, to join her sister Nicky and brother Barron kick off the festivities in Cannes. However, she was forced to postpone her arrival when she realized she did not have her passport with her.
According to some sources, her sister Nicky told several people in Cannes that Paris had changed her plans and take another flight.
Hilton still managed to fly to France to join his family for the Monaco Grand Prix during the weekend.
Since then she has been photographed several times, participating in various festivals in Cannes.
Remember, this is the movie Robin Hood in Ridley Scott who gave the kick-off at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival May 12 last.
