Tyra Banks protected against a stalker

The former model-turned TV host, Tyra Banks, has obtained a restraining order against a man who threatened and harassed since 2006, reports Starpulse.

The host of America’s Next Top Model has asked a judge for an injunction to be protected against Marten Williams Jr., saying he was stalking, and family members for four years.

In documents filed in court in Los Angeles, Banks stated that the man had a history of mental problems and he was bombarded with letters and objects sinister and frightening.

Banks said: “I am afraid of Mr. Williams and I fear for my safety and that of those around me, including my family and my employees.”

Note that Marten Williams Jr. was also arrested on the property of Banks in Beverly Hills earlier this month.

A judge has issued a restraining order against the man, forcing him to stay away from the star and his family until his hearing on October 28, where we decide whether this order will become permanent.
