The Los Angeles health officials trying to determine why dozens of people suffered breathing difficulties after attending a party at the mansion of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, local media reported Sunday.
The Playboy Mansion, a luxurious building located on the Gothic heights of Beverly Hills, February 3 hosted an evening of fundraising.
Dozens of people complained of breathing difficulties and then some suspect a machine used to create artificial fog around the pool to be the cause, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Department of Public Health in Los Angeles sent a letter notifying all participants in the evening that some had respiratory symptoms similar to pneumonia, and is still investigating the causes of this incident, the newspaper said.
