Charlie Sheen has received special permission from a judge to remain at the bedside of his wife who is in intensive care at a hospital in Sherman Oaks, California, despite a restraining order issued against him that prevented any communication between the pair since he was arrested last December 25 on charges of domestic violence, reports TMZ.
The news site says that Brooke Mueller was hospitalized for pneumonia and high fever after she had undergone oral surgery earlier this week. It would be treated with antibiotics since the surgery.
Charlie Sheen has therefore made at the bedside of his wife last Wednesday, accompanied by two of his friends including Mark Brug, executive producer of the TV series Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen that remains since the restraining order still prevents the both spouses to share their family home.
Since Brooke is still hospitalized, one learns that his lawyer and that of Charlie Sheen has asked the judge to postpone their hearing scheduled for this Friday in Aspen, Colorado, during which both sides should discuss the possibility of raising the order restrictive. The date of the rehearing was arrested in February 8th next.
Recall that a temporary restraining order preventing any communication between the couple is in force since the incident on December 25 last, during which Brooke says that Charlie would have been threatened with a knife. Since the incident, counsel for Brooke Mueller confirmed that his client wanted to resume contact with her husband.
