Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days jail after the judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles Marsha Revel has concluded that it had violated his probation related to his conviction for driving while impaired dating from 2007. Lindsay Lohan will begin her sentence July 20, 2010.

Lindsay Lohan was in tears towards the end of the hearing. However, she wished to speak after the judge has indicated that it had violated his probation by failing to follow the letter and program information about alcoholism.
Lohan stated that she was simply trying to balance his career and his legal problems, and had received permission from the program sobriety absent for business travel. These permissions were not discussed with the court.
The magistrate made his decision after a long day at the court during which it heard testimony from representatives of the program of sobriety Right On which Lindsay Lohan was attending on a weekly basis to comply with the terms of his probation.
Chery Marshall, co-founder of Right On, told the judge that Lindsay Lohan did not meet its schedule of classes on alcohol education, as prescribed by the court, providing excuses “interminable disrespectful. Cheryl Marshall also said that Lindsay Lohan did not attend nine meetings scheduled for December 15, 2009. His employees, however, had not notified the court details of Lohan’s absences.
“She has clearly violated your orders,” exclaimed the Attorney Danette Meyers before the judge during the testimony of Marshall, referring to Lohan.
The prosecutor also asked the judge to punish her if Lindsay Lohan anti-alcohol bracelet had actually tripped due to ingestion of alcohol at a party following the MTV Movie Awards in June . The magistrate found that the proportion of alcohol in the blood of Lohan “has been tested to 0.3 just before midnight on June 7 and was dropped to zero at 4 pm”
It is not clear whether the prosecutor’s motion was taken into consideration, since Shaw Chapman Holley, the lawyer for Lindsay Lohan, says the alarm electronic tagging would have triggered erroneously.
Linday’s sister, Ali Lohan, was present during the hearing. Michael Lohan, father of the actress, has also moved to the court in Beverly Hills, but was denied the right to speak by the judge. The Magistrate, however, accepted that he wrote a letter to the court to make its comments surrounding the case of Lindsay.
Last May, the magistrate revealed she had reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan had not met the conditions of his probation. The star who was to appear for a hearing had been held in France from the theft of his passport.
Upon his return to American soil, the judge ordered Lindsay Lohan to wear an electronic bracelet at all times anti-alcohol ankle, in addition to submit to random alcohol tests and attend briefings on alcoholism.
